Some Ogles from Ohio descend from the English immigrant John Ogle of Delaware (d. 1683/4) and Elizabeth [--?--], but there are relatives with known lineage tracing back to Ireland. The latter branch is thought to be related to the same ancient family seat in co. Northumb. but the timing and connnections are lost in history.
